- Whether the sound stays in one area or moves.
- Exterior gaps visible from the ground.
- Odor, staining or droppings without touching the material.
What not to do
- Do not enter a confined attic without appropriate safety precautions.
- Do not handle bats or unknown wildlife.
- Do not close an entry point until occupants and dependent young have been considered.
- Do not assume every sound requires poison, trapping or immediate removal.
