Privacy Policy
PestCostData works without an account and its calculators do not ask for your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or street address. Optional third-party provider matching is separate from the calculator.

Calculator inputs
The calculator and animal-in-attic checker run in your browser. Full input sets are used to produce an on-screen result and are not submitted to PestCostData, HomeYou, a service provider or a lead buyer. The tools do not request a ZIP code. Analytics events identify the tool used and may include the selected service category, model version and a broad estimate band; they do not include home-size, severity, location-factor or attic-symptom selections. If you separately choose a provider-matching link, the selected service category and anonymous placement labels may be included in the outbound link, but the calculator answers are not transferred.
Google Analytics
PestCostData uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7DSW1P7ZLS) to understand aggregate page views, traffic sources, device and browser categories, approximate location and general on-site activity. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and sessions. Google processes this measurement data under its own terms and privacy controls.
PestCostData does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, ZIP-code calculator input or free-text submissions to Google Analytics. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled in the site tag. Search Console and Bing ownership-verification tags, if added, are not product-event trackers.
Hosting and request data
Like most websites, the hosting and security provider may process request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse and maintain logs. PestCostData does not receive or store the name, phone number, email address, street address or project description entered on HomeYou's hosted form.
Optional HomeYou provider matching
Selected pest-control pages offer a HomeYou form served from leads.polyares.com inside an embedded frame, opened only after you activate an estimate button. An alternative link opens the hosted form in a new tab. The frame connects directly to HomeYou, which may process request data, set cookies, run its own analytics and consent or lead-certification tools, ask for project and contact information, and share a submitted request with its service-provider network under its own privacy practices. PestCostData cannot read the cross-origin form fields and does not copy them into its analytics. We send an anonymous click identifier and site, placement and service-category labels in the form URL. No HomeYou frame or parent-page integration script is loaded before activation.
Affiliate and conversion measurement
PestCostData records impressions and clicks for provider-matching calls to action in Google Analytics without sending names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, ZIP codes, project descriptions or lead-certification data. Click events can include the same randomly generated anonymous click identifier carried in the HomeYou link, together with service and placement labels. HomeYou may report whether a referred request was sold and the resulting affiliate payout. These commercial results do not change the calculator model or editorial content.
Session storage
The site uses sessionStorage to remember a dismissed provider-matching banner for the selected service during a browser-tab session. Internal QA links marked qa=1 or utm_source=qa set a session flag that prevents the Google Analytics tag and product events from being sent from that tab, including subsequent page visits. This QA flag is for testing and is not a general analytics-consent control. If browser storage is unavailable, the QA link still isolates the marked page, but the flag may not persist across pages.
Children and sensitive information
The site is intended for U.S. homeowners and general audiences, not children under 13. Do not include health, payment or other sensitive information in a third-party service request unless it is necessary and the recipient clearly explains why it is requested.
Your choices
You can use every PestCostData cost guide and calculator without selecting provider matching. You can also limit analytics cookies through browser privacy controls, block the Google tag with compatible content-blocking tools, clear stored cookies or use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported. HomeYou controls information submitted on its hosted form and provides its own privacy choices and request process.
